They do not deduct Va comp from Civil Service or Civil Retirement. I waiverd my miltary for civil service when I retired in 2001 from the FAA for a cobine 37 yrs federal service. Bob Arnold

One cannot collect CRSC if they have waived milt retired pay to collect Civil Service retirement.

One thing should be mentioned though. It is not mandatory to 'combine' military and CS retirement. You can keep them separate but if you elect to combine you have to make the Post 56 Military Deposit.
